Sport Mods added to April 20 show

The Together WE Fight Hunger 25 for 35 in honor of Brian Hetrick will be one class bigger next weekend, as the Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA Sport Mods have been added to the the April 20, line-up at Lee County Speedway.

Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA Sport Mod drivers will be competing for $500 to win, with a complete purse to be announced later this week.

Hy-Vee and Midwest Performance are combining to bring the 305 Sprint Cars for $1,000 to win, $200 to start, which were and continue to be the headline act for the show, which honors Brian Hetrick, who passed away in 2008.

Also on the card will be Mod Lites, Coors Light IMCA Hobby Stocks and Sunline IMCA Sport Compacts.

Grandstand tickets will be $12, with seniors $10, students 11-17 $7 and Chilrden 10 and under free. Pit passes will be $25. Pit Gates will open at 5 p.m., with the grandstands opening at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps will start at 7 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.
