TSSR Night brings week two points racing

Nurses show your work ID to get in for $5, party in the pits after the races
DONNELLSON, Iowa (April 30, 2012) – With the racing season finally underway, this Friday night brings the first special event of the year to Lee County Speedway.

In fact, it will be a well-rounded night of racing action and post-race fun!

Tri-State Speed Review hosts the night’s activities, which includes Nurses Night! All nurses who come to the track with their work ID will receive $5 grandstand admission. This week honors nursing, nationally, so we at Lee County Speedway felt like it would be at least a small way to honor a field that does not get nearly enough recognition!

Also, Buffalo Wild Wings will have their trailer on hand to serve up some goodies, including boneless wings, and Dan the Man DJ service will be on hand following the races to party it up in the pits!

As part of the fun, Dirt, Dust and Speed will be recording the racing action and in turn playing Friday’s races on the two 50” big screens that BWW has on their trailer! So you can come to pits after the races, enjoy some good food, listen to some great music and watch the races that just concluded on the big screens! How much more could you ask for than that?

Oh – one more thing – to go along with the food, music and fun there will be adult beverages and great Pepsi products available for purchase as well!

All five normal classes will be in racing action this week, including Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars, Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA Sport Mods, Coors Light IMCA Hobby Stocks and Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts.

Racing action will begin at 7:30 p.m., with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 p.m. and hot laps are at 7 p.m. Pit Gates will open at 5 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for students 11-17 and children 10 and under are free. Pit passes are $25.
