Doc 360/Pepsi Next Night next up for LCS

DONNELLSON, Iowa (May 5, 2012) – The next event for Lee County Speedway comes, Friday, May 11, with a special night brought to you by Doc 360 and Pepsi Next.

After what will be a great night of racing, fans will be able to leave with an ice-cold Doc 360, Diet Doc 360 or Pepsi Next, courtesy of our friends at Memphis Bottling Co. Pepsi is the official soft drink of Lee County Speedway!

All five normal classes will be in action, including the new Coors Light Hobby Stocks. With car counts low in week one and the prospect of them improving not high, Lee County Speedway made the decision, May 3, to open its Hobby Stock rules up. There will no longer be IMCA sanctioned Hobby Stocks, but instead a rules package has been instituted to allow the 34 Raceway Outlaw Hobby Stocks and the Quincy Raceways 9:1 Hobby Stocks to compete on what we hope to be a level playing field. For more information, check the press release that was made, Thursday.

Also in action, Friday, will be the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars, Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA Sport Mods and Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts. All four classes will be running their second week of points.

The Hobby Stocks will be running their first week of track points!

Pit Gates will open at 5 p.m., grandstands at 5:30 p.m., with hot laps at 7 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. Pit passes are $25, while adult grandstand admission is $9. Seniors are $7, Students 11-17 are $5 and Children 10 and under are free in the grandstands.

We hope to see you at the races, and YES, we are working to reschedule last week’s washed out Party in the Pits!
