Ken Schrader vs HDT Modifieds This Thursday, June 20th

Donnellson, IA (Monday, June 17, 2013) – NASCAR star Kenny Schrader will try his luck up against the best in the IMCA Modified ranks this Thursday, June 20th at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, IA. As Budweiser Open Wheel Night, presented by Big Country 103.1 and Outdoor Power Inc., brings the Karl Performance Hawkeye Dirt Tour for IMCA Modifieds, the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing 360 Sprint Invaders, the Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars, Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA SportMods, and the Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts to the track.

This night will also make history, as this is will be the first time that the Karl Performace Hawkeye Dirt Tour for IMCA Modifieds and the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders will race on the same night at the same track. The Karl Performance Hawkeye Dirt Tour Modifieds will be racing for a top prize of $1,000 to win, with $150 posted to start the A Main! While the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders will be going for a top prize of $1,200 to win, with $300 up for grabs to start there A Main!

Also in action on the night will be the Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars, the Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA SportMods, and the Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts. The Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars will be racing for $500 to win and $70 to start. While the Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts will be racing for $200 to win, thanks to Hornung Racing and Dunker Concrete, Skipp unker. Dunker Concrete has also added $50 to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place spots in the Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts feature!

The Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA SportMods, and Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts will be awarded track points, IMCA national, regional and state points. While the Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars will not be racing for track points, but will be awarded IMCA national, regional and state points. All classes will be a draw / redraw event, with no entry fees or track registration fees!

So make plans to be at the Lee County Speedway next Thursday, June 20th as Budweiser will have alot of respresentatives from local businesses in the pits!

Grandstand admission will be adults $15, seniors $13, students (7 – 17) $10, and kids 6 & under FREE! Pit passes will be $30, ages 7 – 13 $15, and ages 6 & under $10. Gates will open at 5:30pm, hot laps at 7:00pm, and racing at 7:30pm.
