Donnellson, IA – With the 2014 season banquet being held a couple of weeks ago, the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa looks to begin 2015 with the 3rd Annual Spring Extravaganza on March 27th & 28th. Little will change for the 2015 season, as the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Hobby Stocks, and IMCA Sport Compacts will return for weekly racing action.
Drivers in attendance at the banquet where enrolled “FREE” into a never seen before pit pass program for our loyal racers. For our perfect attendance drivers in 2015 each driver will pay $1 less each night they race at a weekly show. This will not include specials, but will include every normal weekly show. For example, on opening points night drivers enrolled into the program will pay a $25 pit pass. Then the next weekly show they will pay $24, then $23, then $22, and so on. Drivers who attended the banquet are already enrolled for free. All other drivers not in attendance at the banquet will be able to enroll for $20. That money will be refunded at the 2015 banquet, with perfect attendance.
The Lee County Speedway will also be offering a ” Tow Card” for the 2015 season. How this works is any drivers that come from over 65 miles away will save $15 a night on their pit pass. While drivers that come from over 90 miles away will get in for FREE! The cost of the “Tow Card” will be $40, and will be refunded at the 2015 banquet with perfect attendance. These “Tow Cards” will only be valid for non specials only for your class. So if your class is having a special it will not be valid for that night. Location will be determined by the drivers, the owner, or where the car is being towed from, whichever is closer.
