Crate Late Models 2017

The Pepsi Lee County Speedway is excited to announce that the Steffes Lee County Late Models will be joining the UMP sanctioning body for the 2017 season for their UMP Crate Late Model class. This will allow the drivers in the tri-state area to run under the same rules. Our drivers will now be eligible for a nice point fund with a $10,000 prize to the National Champion. IMCA type late models will also be able to run like they did in 2016 against the crates in our phase in period. The Lee County Late Models were introduced in 2016 with great results. We averaged over 10+ for the first year with a class that started with zero. We feel this will allow more drivers to come compete with us plus allow our drivers to race other places if they wish.

Bring your old cell phone along to Shiverfest this weekend

This Saturday at Shiverfest RVAP (Rape victim advocacy program), DVIP (domestic violence intervention program),
and CPPC (community partnership for protecting children) advocates will have a table set up by the ticket booth as
you come in and are asking that you bring any old cell phones that you might have laying around, even if they are
broken. These are given to assault victims to dial 911 in an emergency. Your junk could save a life!! Please take time
to stop by and visit with the girls. The statistics that they provide is staggering. Thank You in advance for you support!
